Remember ‘hope and change’? That might sound like a political statement, but it’s really just a statement about empty hope. It’s ok to have hope, but there needs to something of substance driving that hope. You will read home business advertisements about ‘making $30,000 per month’ or ‘getting rich from home’ or some such thing. These advertisements use hope as a basis but there is nothing behind it.
You can start a home based business and use it a driver for your hope and change. But that means you will actually have to work the business. It doesn’t mean you can sit around watching TV all day while the business runs in the background. Sadly, many people who start a home based business, expect it to be like that and are disappointed when it is not. A home based business will not automatically send money flying into your mailbox. It will if (and only if) you work at it.
There are a variety of approaches to take in growing a home based business, but none of them include just ‘hoping’ things will happen. Hope must be preceded by action. You need to take action and take action often. Whether that means writing articles, making calls to prospects, working on advertising campaigns, or some other business building activity, you must take action. So let’s rename that to Action Hope and Change shall we?
